The South Milwaukee Public Library Foundation, Inc. is sponsoring their annual wine tasting on Friday evening, October 19th from 7 PM to 9:30 PM. Tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased at the TriCity National Bank, M&I Bank, the circulation desk at the library or at the door on the night of the tasting. Great time to meet your friends and neighbors and have an enjoyable evening, while tasting a wide variety; of wines. Music will be provided by the Garlic Mustard Pickers.
The Youth Room will be sponsoring a Halloween family fun night on Tuesday, October 23rd from 6:30-7:45. Rick Allen will present a magic show. There will be crafts for the kids and the Library Board will serve punch and cookies. Kids are encouraged to come in costume!
Registration for the late fall story time will begin on Monday, October 29th. The Tuesday story time will begin on November 13th. There are two sessions: 10:30 or 1:30.
The Youth Room will once again be sponsoring the Scholastic Book Fair. The fair will be held from November 30th thru December 11th. Great opportunity to do your Christmas shopping. Give the gift of reading that a child will treasure.

Students who need to pracatice for the AP tests should check out the library's "learn a test" database. South Milwaukee residents can access this through the online catalog. Remember...practice makes perfect!
