Thanks to everyone who supported the South Milwaukee Public Library Foundation’s wine tasting on October 19th. We appreciate your support.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 10th. The Friends of the Library will be holding their November book sale. Some great bargains. Romance novels will be $1.00 per bag. The sale runs from 9:30 am to 3 PM.
Registration for the fall story time begins on Monday, October 29th and runs through Saturday, November 10th. Story time will begin on Tuesday, November 13th. There are two sessions: 10:30 or 1:30. Great stories and crafts!]
The Youth Room will once again be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair. The fair starts on Friday, November 30th and will run through Monday, December 10th. Gift the gift of reading, give a book.
As the holidays grow closer, many times people want to send color photographs of their family to relatives and friends. The library has a new color copier that makes great copies of color photographs.
Getting ready to decorate for the holidays? Check out the library collection of books on holiday decorations. And while you are at it, check out the library’s collection of cookbooks for ideas on cooking for the holidays.
The library will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23rd. The library will reopen on Saturday 9 am to 4 pm.

Students who need to pracatice for the AP tests should check out the library's "learn a test" database. South Milwaukee residents can access this through the online catalog. Remember...practice makes perfect!
